Ever since I took that step in putting up this blog link on my Facebook profile, I noticed that people actually do take some interest to read. Thank you friends! :)
So I'm back here after a fun, long, busy, cool, awesome, amazing and exhausting week of orientation, and perhaps some lectures, in TJC!
The feelings I have inside me are hard to describe - seriously.
So much (note : not many) things happened over these few days that it would take me hours to pen them all down!
Just highlighting some of the key events that really left an impact in me.
Dancing! Mass dance? Yeah, but not as hyper when it comes to dancing with some OGMs to some KPop songs (from Super Junior & SNSD). Learnt moves that I couldn't seem to grasp completely online! Thanks OGL Krystel :)
CIP! Go Green Day.

Awesome time helping the Bedok Community. Invaluable experiences gained through helping and coordinating with people. Bonds within OG2 were strengthened inevitably.
Games day! Dedicated almost a full day just for OG bonding through games and talks.

Had wet games as well, not surprising.
Preparing for O-nite! Face-paint, rowdiness and being hyper - all in a night.

Mass Dance at Suntec Fountain of Wealth.

Coolest experience ever, literally. We were drenched completely. Rowdy night, but not as serious as O-nite. Still, the supper we had after that was delightful :)
The above pictures give a glimpse of the fun we had as an OG and they are just the little photos we have - many are up on Facebook (as usual).
The pseudo-amazing race! The chance for us as an OG to help our clan (Xeia!) garner as much points as possible.

Stare at it long enough, and you'll notice "OG2" starring back intensely.
We went to places such as Dhoby Gauht, Bras Basah Complex (as shown above) , Esplanade and One Fullerton to play team-building games! Most of us got ourselves a mild sun burnt that day.
And lastly, our first typical day at school today after being separated and dispatched into different CGs (Civics Group). Thankfully, I've got familiar friends and OGMs who are in the same CG. Nonetheless, this didn't give an end to OG2.
We initially planned a movie last minute after school (just like how I planned a last minute OG breakfast for this morning) but OGLs couldn't make it. Played 'Murderer' @ Tampines Mall ultimately.
An exciting game that puts trust, acting and discerning skills to the test.
Come to think of it, we took a long bus ride just to go Tampines Mall to play just this. However, it was not the things we did that matters, but the times we spent together :)
And we had our usual time of cracking lame jokes - contributed by everyone - on the bus.
These are just the little invaluable memories that are etched in our hearts. There are alot more that I can't mention or it would pain your eyes further to read! No matter how deep the memories are, we're still OG2!
"OG 2! People say we are the best!" (and you know the rest)
Lol @ my favourite cheer that I love leading!
As for the days to come, I'm not sure of our fate. But we take comfort in knowing that there are enthusiastic OGMs in OG2 that are willing to put in effort and plan activities that can sustain the cohesiveness formed over our Orientation days.
Thanks OG2, for the wonderful moments created and the pictures captured!
Moving on... (if you would like to read more, carry on and have fun)
Speaking about pictures, everything is made efficient thanks to Facebook.
Pictures can be easily attained after we're being 'tagged'.
Efforts to upload your photos, take photos or even save pictures are remarkably reduced thanks to this thing called : "Photos of me (***)"
We are pushed involuntarily into this era of social networking.
'Friendships' are maintained or/and sustained in a sense when we get "Updates" of our 'friends'.
Then, are we being compelled to "laziness"?
Is the Internet a curse or a blessing? Ultimately, it depends on the way an individual uses and perceives it.
Undeniably, friendships decay.
We can't build or maintain true friendships online can we?
We are blessed because the Internet slows down the decaying process. True relationships can only be built on tangible interactions, and not through the intangible online interactions.
So let's put in some effort to maintain these friendships we have and not let them slide into mere acquaintanceship after a considerably long period of time.
"OG2 Unite! I wanna see you fight~!"
