Doing something you have not been doing for months and then told to do it within a limited time frame.
You're perplexed when you lose the flow and words you initially came up with during the state of panic.
You're left bewildered when the discouraging thoughts of your incompetence flashed after you understood the vital importance of the situation.
That's what happened when the task of churning out a cover letter for my appeal into VJC came crashing onto my shoulders.
Phone rang, rushed my lunch (someone was amazed at how fast I ate, though I was even more overwhelmed by someone who ate faster), rushed back home, rushed to organise things, calmed down during my thought processes.
When all the above was done, I realised I was left with about an hour (apparently that was what I was told).
Rushed my letter immediately.
Thankfully, though, God gave me sufficient time to treat that as a draft for my final copy - which was submitted 'on time' to the General Office at VJC.
Anyway you guys must be wondering, "So where did he go initially?"
TJC. Haha!
Am I satisfied with the letter? I'm left with little choice but to hold on to faith steadfastly. If it's Your will Lord, let it be done so accordingly. I'm just but a servant and mouthpiece for your purposes and plans :)
Moving on!
I understand the mundane (yes, I know it is. Pardon me, lol!) state of my blog as it is void of vibrancy. And to bring that "vibrancy", here's something for me to talk about :
When one's driven to a state where he/she is left with but little choices, what do we/they do? And what can we/they do?
The fact that technology (computers, especially) is advancing forcefully into the human intellect makes it so terribly confusing - "Why do we get/not get what we desire?", "Ultimately, who chooses for us?" And the hard question, "Why?"
Answers can be found only when we account it to divine intervention - well, kinda like me :)
Nevertheless, what we see now may not be fully comprehended, that leaves us trapped and scurrying to find an alternative. We can attempt to discern, however, the possibilities that are ahead.
Like this road, most would usually perceive it as a one-way-only straight path that leads to the other end.
However, one may, and should, consider the fact that many surprises - pleasant and unpleasant - are in store for him/her. What are the doors to various shops/shophouses there for? To bring you elsewhere - out of the mainstream and into the differentiation between the others - in the midst of your 'journey' of course!
Lets not be blinded by impetuous perception, but be guided by wise discernment.
