Sheesh, I've so much to pen down here, I just don't know where to start this..
Graduation Concert day.
It was aaaaaa blast!
Emotional, yes that goes without saying.
Everyone here's human.
Played expressively, bonded as 1 with my trumpet.
Will be the last time playing it already (technically speaking haha)
We all know music in PHSB has NO END! :)
And my Trumpet Section mates will always be my close friends.
Sat together for at most 3 years and minimum 1 year.
Got to know Katherine, Marvin, Alicia and Arnold better over this period of time.
Yeah firstly, forgive me, for having too much of the trumpet blood.
A little with passion was good :)
But I went overboard at times, and my ya-ya-ness showed (isn't it so Arnold and Alicia? Haha..)
I hope those years of guidance from me as a senior have been fruitful.
My musical knowledge was still substantial, I only hold a grade 2 piano!
To have rhytmic sense to correct wherever mistakes occured was also essential :)
And I hope those cards and pictures I've made will be treasured dearly...
Especially the letters.
I meant them from the bottom of my heart - as a trumpet player to my trumpet mates.
Go Alicia and Arnold, continue our legacy.
Katherine, Marvin and I will always miss those chairs we sat on together for at least the past 1 year.
And now I understand how those sec 2 and 3 rushed to complete over 20 plus letters.
Having thoughts like, "Do I know this person, should I write a nice note?" or "Forget it, just use big fonts to fill the whole page up..."...
Haha it's alright, it was tough.
But yet, everyone managed to produce the nicest combination of cards :D
Dearest PHSB,
I've stepped down as an events manager and your so called 'solo 2nd trumpet player'.
I didn't know I was such a Jekyl and Hyde person in band to many people whom I'm not close to.
After reading through the letters.
Yeah it was touching.
People whom I hardly even know...impacted me quite alot as well.
Examples would be Yvonne and Jia Qi (percussion).
Some described me as full of humour, a joker, and most said I was a good events manager, and ultra genius (from Bryan).
Haha... Yeah and didn't know I have so much expectations... :)
Don't worry bandmates, I will do my best to make all of you guys proud.
Have faith in me yeah.
Make history! :D
Hmmm... the concert was awesome.
Friends kept shouting my name, but of course, nobody could beat ying xuan's attention isn't it :D
So many supporters!
Haha really proud of everyone :)
What matters was that we all had fun at the concert last night.
Our band's very very first own concert!
(Break off from here first...forgive me)
I will continue adding on more to this post as time goes...
I'm stuffed with the food from the Seoul Garden buffet with the Sec 4s and Mr Tang today.
Metabolic rate's running high, so cartisol levels are high right now.
Can't really sleep just now, but yeah, I will now! :)
Be Merry everybody! (The Merry Widow!)
