200th post, and it's abundant with everything.

I think this will start this post off, credits to Miss Chng and Miss Lee for the photos.
So yeah, the much awaited post, with photos and everything - good, ardent, morose or jubilance.

Everyone knows, Mrs Yao is leaving for Melbourne in a few weeks time.
And yes, it has really been a sad week for most of us in the band.
We had Pauline, who couldn't control her tears after yesterday's practice and gathering with Mrs Yao.
Xinfei, Yanhong and co. wanting to snap photos with Mrs Yao over and over again, like it seemed those snapshots were signifying a strong and passionate desire of ardour, never wanting her to leave the school.
Or if otherwise so, wanting her to have fresh memories to keep so as to remember their names.
Like Yijie and his 'one period' and Xinfei and her 'heartfly'.
Everyone was laughing (especially that Yanhong and his piercing laughter) at the scene.

For a moment then, right after the pizza treat by our lovely teachers, the formality level - between band members and the vice-principal - dropped.
Let me give you an example, there I was with Yi Jie, helping the teachers gathering back the pizzas to put them together on a table so everyone has the liberty to select their favourites.
One by one, I opened the boxes with Yi Jie.
All pizzas were still there, suddenly I opened this special one.
The seafood flavour, one slice was missing.
Without hesitation (and full of stupidity), I shouted, "Oi! How come missing one slice! Who?! Tum jia!" (greedy in hokkien)
Moments later I realised it was Mrs Yao who took the first slice.
Yeah, it was indeed embarassing... but funny as well.
Everyone kept on going "Oohhh.... Orrrhhhh ..." non-stop.

Then, there was the sight of people, rushing up after the pizza treat, beaming with copious excitement and joy, screaming and laughing uncontrollably, wanting to get close with Mrs Yao.
May it be taking a photo that will evoke wonderful memories, or forcing her to remember their names, it truly was quite a touching sight ...
And there was this moment where we told her to show the 'rwaker' sign, and she thought it was the middle-finger and almost did it in front of the camera.
Haha, have you ever came across such a cute VP?
Allow the following photos to summarise what I've just mentioned.

"Heart fly... alright! Hahaha!"

Rwaker pose! And behold, Yan Hong and his hands of E.T.! He fails.

"Awww..."

Credits to Miss Chng for this great angle shot.

I may not be someone of a high position at counselling, or a master of advices, nor a nobleman of wisdom.
But what I can say to you guys out there, is the word resiliency.
Yeah I may sound a little like some teachers of our school...
At times like this, we should be strong and accept changes with courage.
In life, changes come face to face with us, we find it hard to let go of those we really treasure.
But in this situation, we should feel happy for our v-principal.
And pick up the virtue 'Passion'.
I believe this has been a huge change in most of us, PHSB will miss Mrs Yao dearly.
And we wish her the best in everything she does.
Life belongs to the living, and he who lives must be prepared for changes.
Nothing we can do can change the past, but everything we do changes the future.

The speech Mrs Yao gave yesterday morning was truly splendid.
Wish my English could be as that powerful as well, like they say, the pen is mightier than the sword.
So people, I suggest you grab February's issue of Reader's Digest.
The vocabulary section was where I picked up some words, which are used in this post.
If you might have noticed.

After a long day in school, with the Chinese New Year performance in the morning, band practice in the afternoon, headed off to a so-called E1 reunion dinner at Pizza Hut.
Imagine 20 plus people squeezing in and having some people who talk at the top of their voice...
What I enjoyed for this dinner - the food.
And of cos, the gathering.

2 of my 3 nu-ers. Yeah I'm a Dad!

Behold, the crazy girl.

She strikes again! Infecting most around her.

Cheers to more of such gatherings in the years to come.
Remember, all your red packets must be surrendered to me by Wednesday! Hahaha!
Nevertheless, have a great time counting money and have a Happy Chinese New Year!
